You don’t! Training jiu jitsu will help you become stronger and fitter. The classes are built up in a way that’s challenging but never overwhelming. Whatever your current fitness level is, you’re welcome to join.
You can join a trial class with just shorts and a tight fitting t-shirt. We offer plenty of no-gi classes where this is all the gear you need. If you want to join our BJJ classes, a gi is needed. Your instructor will gladly help you pick the right gi.
No! As the Chinese saying goes: the best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is today. We have people of many different ages training with us.
